How to Use Brow Code Professional Brow Tint Kit
Step 1 – Prepare the Brows

Before performing a professional eyebrow tinting treatment, ensure the brow area is properly cleansed.

• Remove all eye makeup and skincare using an oil-free cleanser
• Ensure brows are clean, dry and free from oils or sebum
• Oil or residue can prevent the brow tint from adhering to brow hairs and skin

Important: Always perform a patch test 24–48 hours prior to tinting.

Step 2 – Mix the Brow Tint

Prepare the tint mixture for salon-quality eyebrow tinting results.

• Mix equal parts Brow Code Tint and Cream or Liquid Oxidant
• Recommended mixing ratio: 1:1
• Typically 4 drops of oxidant creates a smooth, creamy paste suitable for application

Step 3 – Apply the Eyebrow Tint

Using the application stick, begin the professional brow tint application.

• Ask the client to close their eyes before application
• Apply tint evenly to fully coat all brow hairs
• Follow the desired brow shape, as tint may lightly stain the skin
• Processing time: 5–12 minutes depending on desired colour depth

Longer development time results in darker, more defined brows.

Step 4 – Remove the Tint

Once development time is complete:

• Remove excess tint with a dry cotton pad
• Use an oil-free cleanser to gently refine the brow shape
• Ensure no tint remains outside the brow area

This reveals defined, fuller-looking brows with rich colour payoff.

Brow Tint Aftercare

To maintain long-lasting eyebrow tint results:

• Avoid makeup and cleansers around the brow area for 24 hours
• Avoid sun exposure, saunas, steam rooms and swimming pools for 24 hours
• Avoid exfoliating or anti-ageing skincare near the brows for 2–3 days
• Avoid self-tanning products on the face for 2–3 days before and after treatment
• Avoid excessive touching of the brows to prevent oil transfer and clogged pores

Optional: Eyelash Tinting

• The Brow Code tint formula can also be used for professional eyelash tinting.
• Recommended shades: Black or Blue Black
• Remove contact lenses before treatment
• Apply protective barrier cream to the lower eyelid
• Place eyelash protection pads under the lashes
• Apply tint evenly until lashes are fully coated
• Allow 5–12 minutes processing time
• Remove tint using a dry cotton pad
• Cleanse the eye area with micellar water
• The client should keep their eyes closed until the tint is fully removed.
